Take an unforgettable full day tour, exploring the incredibly remote waterways and wilderness of Bathurst Harbour/ Port Davey.

Departing Cambridge Airport, our aircraft will fly you into this remote area via the South West Coast. Departing Cambridge airport, we will make our way down the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and on past Recherche Bay to Tasmanian’s most southern point at South East Cape.

At this point we leave civilization behind and enter the vast South West Wilderness by following the famous South Coast Track all the way to the other side of the island, far corner of the most remote part South West World Heritage Area at Melaleuca

On the ground at Melaleuca, you'll have the opportunity to explore some of the local area, including visiting the local tin mine, a visit to see the rear and endanger Orange Bellied Parrot at the Denny King Bird Hide and some walks around the local area.

Afterwards, we'll go onboard one of boats for a boat trip up the Melaleuca Inlet, into Bathurst Harbour, a waterway the size of Sydney Harbour, which has been untouched by civilisation.

You will visit the untouched Celery Top Islands, take walks in the wilderness and enjoy lunch whilst breathing some of the cleanest air in the World.

Late in the afternoon, we'll then board our aircraft, and return to Cambridge Airport, via Federation Peak, and Mt Picton, over Huonville and Hobart City.

Tour is approx 8 hours in duration and in all inclusive. Departs daily at 09:00.

Enjoy this full day tour that takes you to the picturesque Huon Valley region, situated south of Hobart. This region has been known primarily for it's apple and berry growing and in more recent times for it's fine wine and produce. Included in this tour is a delicious vineyard platter, chocolate tasting, cheese sampling, Cellar Door tasting & Devonshire tea.
Suggested Itinerary
We depart from the Tasmanian Travel & Information Centre at 09:30 each Thursday where you commence your journey to the Huon Valley region.
Home Hill
First stop is Home Hill Nestled in the hills at Ranelagh. Home Hill blends beautifully into the surrounding country side. Enjoy some of their award winning wines, notably their Pinot Noir.
Panorama Vineyard
Is a family owned boutique vineyard located on the eastern bank of the Huon River, in a sheltered region that was once the centre of high quality orchards and the apple export industry.
Hartzview Vinyeard
With the Hartz mountain range as a backdrop is where you will enjoy a delightful vineyard platter of local produce which will be offered as a light lunch. Tastings of table wines, Ports and fortified wines follow before taking time out to explore the historic pickers’ huts.
Cygneture
Hand crafted chocolate and confectionary shop which uses produce from the Huon Valley and surrounding areas.
Grandvewe Cheese
Tasmania’s only sheep milk cheesery produced by organic farming methods offers a range of delicious cheeses and wines for sampling.
Brookfield
Enjoy a sumptuous Devonshire tea at the unique Brookfield cafe and take time out to visit the quirky gift shop.

Come and explore one of the World's last wilderness frontiers, South West Tasmania. This World Heritage listed National Park has international significance, comprising of over 4500 sq kms of pristine wilderness, no roads , no civilisation, just pure wilderness.

Departing Cambridge Airport, your aircraft will fly you to Melaleuca past Mount Wellington, over the Huon Valley, Mt Picton and then you enter the South West World Heritage Area passing Federation Peak before landing at Melaleuca.

Once landing at Melaleuca, you'll board one of our boats, for a boat trip on Melaleuca Inlet, being able to witness the wildnerness from a viewpoint that you are unable to appreciate by air or by foot

Returning to Melaleuca, we'll take an opportunity to visit the Denny King Bird Hide, and try and catch a glimpse of the endangered Orange Bellied Parrot over refreshments.

We will then board our aircraft, and return to Cambridge Airport, via the South Cost of Tasmania, passing the Ironbound range, South East Cape, Bruny Island and finally the City of Hobart.

This tour is approximately 4 hours in duration and is all inclusive.
